About the Role
We are looking for an AI Agent Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent agents that automate real business workflows. This role goes beyond basic prompt engineering — you will develop production-ready systems powered by LLMs, APIs, and orchestration frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents capable of executing multi-step tasks autonomously
- Develop and maintain backend systems that integrate LLMs with internal and external tools
- Implement RAG pipelines, memory systems, and tool-calling workflows
- Integrate agents with platforms like CRM, Slack, WhatsApp, or internal systems
- Optimize prompts, latency, and cost efficiency of AI systems
- Collaborate with product and business teams to translate workflows into AI solutions
- Deploy and monitor AI systems in production environments
Requirements Core Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Python (mandatory)
- Solid background in software engineering (APIs, system design, testing)
- Experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as:
- LangChain / LangGraph
- LlamaIndex
- AutoGen (nice to have)
AI & Systems Experience
- Building AI agents or multi-step workflows (not just chatbots)
- Experience with:
- Function/tool calling
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)
Backend & Integration
- API integrations (REST, GraphQL)
- Databases (SQL / NoSQL)
- Experience connecting systems (automation, third-party tools)
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-agent systems
- Knowledge of fine-tuning or model evaluation (evals)
- Cloud deployment experience (AWS, GCP, Vercel, etc.)
- Experience optimizing token usage and cost
- Background in process automation or operations
