We are hiring an Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) Resident Engineer to join our Sales team and work with LATAM-based customers.

Reporting to: Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) Resident Engineering Team Leader

Location: Brazil (home office)

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring, operating, and maintaining Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) products at customers’ sites.
• A SME (Subject Matter Expert) on Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) products and how to implement into a customer's environment.
• As an Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) product expert, providing knowledge transfer and training on relevant areas of the product that meet the customer’s strategic needs.
• Assisting Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) internal technical support department with troubleshooting as well as acting as an escalation point as needed.
• Providing consultation on upgrade and migration planning.
• Establishing “Trusted Advisor” relationships with the management and technical teams within Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) customers while working with Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) account team to extend Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s reputation and position as a vendor.
• Monitoring the Adoption Health within assigned customer account and providing a quarterly business review to further drive adoption.
• Advising and consulting on best-practices, lessons learned, and guidelines that will provide maximum benefit to customers as they adopt the Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) security solution.
• Working in tight integration with the Sales Organization, US-based Professional Services, Technical Support, and R&D.
• Advocate customer needs/issues across-Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s departments.
• Assists in writing technical documentation, client SOPs, and Runbooks as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a software company.
• Experience in Linux/UNIX environments.
• Experience with networking devices (Switches, Routers etc.).
• Experience in firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto etc.).
• Experience working with Cloud platforms and managing Cloud Security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.
• Ability to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergencies.
• Customer oriented and ability to establish customer’s trust.
• Problem solver, result driven, demonstrating a ‘make it happen’ attitude, Attention to details.
• Team player, pleasant to work with, with a high level of integrity, bright, self-learner.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including frequent on-site visits to Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) customers in LATAM.
