Business Operations Analyst (Colombia)
We are looking for a Colombiabased Senior Business Operations Analyst to act as the local execution arm for our LATAM Operations team. You will be the first line of response for all Colombian operational needs, ensuring fast, reliable, and compliant execution of payment and FX flows. You will develop a deep understanding of local regulations and operational requirements, help shape processes that meet market standards, and support regional initiatives beyond daytoday tasks. Working with banks, partners, and crossfunctional teams, you will also identify improvements, reduce costs, automate flows, and strengthen operational performance across the region.
What you will do:
Act as the local execution arm for all Colombian operational activities, serving as the first line of response for daily needs and incident resolution.
Manage and execute daytoday payment, FX, and treasuryrelated flows in Colombia, ensuring reliability, compliance, and operational continuity.
Develop a deep understanding of Colombian regulations, FX rules, reporting requirements, and operational standards, and ensure all processes comply with them.
Maintain strong relationships with banks, PSPs, processors, and local partners, addressing operational issues and driving performance improvements.
Participate in crosscountry initiatives and regional projects that go beyond local payment providers, supporting broader LATAM operational evolution.
Identify opportunities to optimize processes, automate manual tasks, reduce costs, and improve SLAs and performance metrics.
Support onboarding, credentials setup, testing, and golive of new flows, merchants, and integrations.
Monitor critical indicators such as processing times, error rates, reconciliation issues, liquidity/FX timing, uptime, and partner performance.
Provide clear communication to internal teams (Product, Tech, Compliance, Finance, CS/AM) and collaborate on prioritization and incident followup.
Document processes, incidents, improvements, and regulatory expectations to ensure clarity and scalability.
What we’re looking for
Experience in financial operations, payments, FX, or fintech environments.
Strong knowledge of Colombian FX regulations, declarations, reporting requirements, and payment market rules.
Proven experience interacting with banks, PSPs, processors, or financial partners.
Strong analytical, problemsolving, and endtoend ownership skills.
Proficient/Fluent English, able to communicate daily with regional and crossfunctional teams.
(Plus) Experience working across LATAM markets such as Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, or Chile.
(Plus) Understanding of stablecoins, virtual accounts, treasury flows, or crossborder operations.
(Plus) Familiarity with tools like Jira, monitoring dashboards, or basic SQL.
