Área: Tecnologia da Informação

Nível: Junior

You'll be the person who makes client data usable. Clients are law firm owners whose financial and operational data live in legal practice management software (Clio, Wealth Counsel, MyCase, Leap, and others). Your job is to extract that data, structure it in Google Sheets, build compelling visualizations in Looker Studio, and keep everything current as clients submit new numbers each quarter.

This isn't a one-and-done dashboard job.
You'll manage an ongoing pipeline across a growing roster of clients, each with their own data quirks, software systems, and reporting needs. You need to be comfortable working with imperfect data from unfamiliar systems and turning it into something clean and clear.

This position is remote in Brazil or LATAM time zones.

Compensation:

$1,400 - $1,800 monthly

Responsibilities:

What You'll Own

Data Retrieval & Intake

  • Work directly with client teams to retrieve data from their practice management software (Clio, Wealth Counsel, MyCase, Leap, and others)
  • Navigate unfamiliar legal software platforms to pull the right reports and exports
  • Standardize messy, inconsistent data into a clean structure
  • Troubleshoot access issues and coordinate with client staff who aren't always technical

Google Sheets - Data Management

  • Build and maintain structured spreadsheets that serve as the data layer for each client
  • Design sheets that are robust, well-organized, and resistant to human error
  • Update client data quarterly as new numbers come in
  • Create formulas, validation rules, and automated calculations that keep things accurate
  • Document data structures so others can understand what's in each sheet

Google Looker Studio - Dashboards & Visualizations

  • Build custom Looker Studio dashboards for each client on top of their Google Sheets data
  • Design visualizations that make financial and operational trends immediately obvious
  • Handle Looker Studio's quirks - blending data sources, managing filters, working around its limitations
  • Iterate on dashboard designs based on feedback from clients and the VW team
  • Maintain and update dashboards as data structures evolve

Ongoing Pipeline Management

  • Track which clients are due for data updates and follow up proactively
  • Manage the quarterly update cycle across all active clients
  • Flag data anomalies or trends worth surfacing to the team
  • Continuously improve templates and processes as the client base grows
Qualifications:

Who You Are

  • Comfortable with financial data. You've worked with P&Ls, revenue data, case volumes, utilization rates, or similar small business metrics. You understand what the numbers mean, not just how to move them around.
  • Google Sheets power user. VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, array formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and conditional formatting - this is your comfort zone. You build sheets that other people can actually use.
  • Experienced with Google Looker Studio. You know its strengths and its frustrating limitations. You've built real dashboards that people rely on, not just demo projects.
  • Resourceful with unfamiliar tools. You'll encounter legal software you've never used before. You figure it out, find the right export, and move on.
  • Detail-obsessed. One wrong number in a client dashboard destroys trust. You double-check everything.
  • Self-managing. You'll juggle multiple clients on different timelines. Nobody is going to micromanage your task list.
  • Clear communicator. You'll interact with client staff who may not be technical. You need to explain what you need in plain language and follow up without being annoying.

Requirements

  • 2+ years working with financial or business data (small business, professional services, or accounting environments preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets (advanced formulas, data structuring, not just basic spreadsheets)
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining Google Looker Studio dashboards
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Based in Latin America with reliable internet
  • Available during US Mountain Time business hours

Nice to Have

  • Experience with legal practice management software (Clio, MyCase, Leap, Wealth Counsel, PracticePanther)
  • Background in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial analysis for small businesses
  • Experience with data integration tools or APIs
  • Familiarity with Google Apps Script
