About the role
We are looking for a Cloud & Backend Engineer to research, validate and implement the cloud infrastructure and backend services of an AI-powered computer vision platform.
You will work across AWS infrastructure, APIs, data services and system integrations, helping build a secure and scalable environment that will operate in the United States.
Location: United States — candidates must be currently based in the US
Responsibilities
Develop backend services and REST APIs.
Design and maintain AWS infrastructure.
Use Terraform and/or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
Research and validate cloud architecture and security solutions.
Develop integrations with databases and external systems.
Support integration between cloud, Edge devices and AI services.
Help deploy the system in a separate AWS environment.
Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to architectural decisions.
Requirements
Currently residing in the United States.
Professional experience with backend development and/or cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with AWS.
Experience with REST APIs and databases.
Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
Good understanding of cloud security, IAM and networking.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to research and validate technical solutions independently.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
Experience with regulated or government environments.
Experience with CI/CD, Docker and observability.
Experience with machine learning, computer vision or Edge systems.
Experience with AWS security and networking.
