Key Responsibilities:
Translate documents, audio, and video content from English to Portuguese (Brazilian variant) and vice versa.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance in all translations.
Review and proofread translated texts for grammar, consistency, and style.
Collaborate with project managers, editors, and localization teams to meet deadlines.
Adapt content for Brazilian audiences where localization is required.
Maintain terminology databases and glossaries for consistent language use.
Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and excellent command of English.
Strong knowledge of Brazilian culture, idioms, and linguistic nuances.
Proficiency with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or Smartcat.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
