About the role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping a cloud-based platform that is redefining how life insurance products are built, delivered, and experienced digitally. You’ll influence core product evolution, balancing front-end excellence with scalable backend design in a remote, agile environment. This role offers high ownership, close collaboration with product leadership, and the chance to grow within a mission-driven, fast-evolving engineering team using modern full stack practices.
What you will do
- Work on the development of features that optimize the main products and platform;
- Build production quality software that will be part of the core products and platform;
- Work in an agile team closely collaborating with other software engineers and a product manager;
- Work in a remote environment.
Must haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
- 6+ years of experience writing production-quality code, ideally on core software product development;
- Solid experience with NodeJS and TypeScript;
- Front-end experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular or Vue);
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle or Postgres;
- Experience working with 3rd party software integrations (REST APIs, XML, JSON), and with cloud services, caching, containers, and app servers (AWS, Docker, Redis, Kubernetes etc.);
- Experience with Test Driven Development;
- Flexibility to work with a strong overlap with Pacific Time Zone hours;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Familiarity with orchestration platforms.
