We are looking for someone to join our internal compliance and legal team, responsible for ensuring the company complies with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Support business areas in Compliance matters to ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations;
- Review and execution of KYs during client onboarding;
- Negotiation, review, and analysis of contracts;
- Conducting meetings with clients;
- Interfacing with other teams, suppliers, and partners;
- Knowledge of national payment methods and compliance legislation (Res. 277, Circular 3,978);
- Research and interpretation of international legislation;
- Adopt measures to create and modify policies to align with Central Bank requirements;
- Evaluate and identify non-compliance risks.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Law, preferably with an active OAB (Brazilian Bar Association) registration;
- Fluent English (will be tested);
- Experience in Payment Institution or Financial Institution regulatory matters;
- Ease and clarity in communication;
- Organization and attention to detail.
