We’re continuing to grow and are looking for a Presales Solutions Engineer with strong Microsoft SQL Server expertise to support technical presales and solution design across the LATAM region.
In this role, you’ll work closely with customers, partners, and our sales teams, leading technical conversations, understanding business challenges, and designing tailored database and cloud solutions. Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese is essential.
Your Mission
Provide expert database presales support to the sales team
Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their cloud and modernisation journey ️
Qualify new opportunities and assess customer technical and business requirements
Lead database discovery sessions and design fit-for-purpose solutions ️
Develop solution proposals, pricing models, and customer presentations
Collaborate closely with Cintra’s delivery teams on database and cloud architecture
Support post-sales delivery to help ensure successful project outcomes
What You Need
3+ years in a dedicated database presales or solutions engineering role
3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a technical capacity ️
2+ years of practical experience working with public cloud platforms
Strong technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience across multiple cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI, Google Cloud)
Familiarity with cloud readiness or migration assessment tools (e.g. AWS MAP)
Exposure to PostgreSQL, Oracle, AWS Aurora, or Google Alloy
Experience positioning and selling professional and managed services
Experience planning, estimating, and supporting database migration and upgrade projects
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Microsoft SQL Server and AWS certifications are highly desirable
