Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced bilingual Personal Injury Case Manager to join our fast-paced legal team. In this role, you will oversee the management of personal injury cases from case opening through resolution, ensuring efficient case progression, thorough documentation, and exceptional client communication. Your expertise will help streamline legal processes, support attorneys in case preparation, and deliver outstanding service to clients navigating complex injury claims. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage caseload of pre-litigation matters with the support of the assigned attorney and support staff.
- Handle majority of incoming communications from clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers daily.
- Set up new client files in our case management software and maintain data integrity as matters move throughout the case management lifecycle.
- Set up claims and send letters of representation to all applicable insurance companies for individual personal injury claims.
- Gather police reports, accident photos, witness statements, and other supporting evidence for individual personal injury claims.
- Communicate and correspond with clients regarding their injuries and medical treatment.
- Communicate and correspond with insurance adjusters and medical providers regarding the status of client’s treatment and other vital case information.
- Oversee support staff in the medical records and billing retrieval process to ensure timely gathering of documentation.
- Draft and submit demand packages to insurance company using our AI-based demand drafting platform.
- Upon successful settlement of the case, communicate with insurance company to ensure timely receipt of the settlement funds.
- Draft and submit disbursement paperwork to individual clients and fully coordinate the disbursement process.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or assigned attorney.
Qualifications
- At least one year of personal injury case management or paralegal experience highly preferred.
- Must be fully fluent in both English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
