Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Qlik Cloud BI Engineer to join a highly complex and fast-paced data environment.
This is a true end-to-end role, where you will own the full BI lifecycle — from data acquisition and pipeline development to data modeling and dashboard delivery.
You will work in a hybrid data ecosystem (on-prem + AWS), integrating multiple data sources and building scalable analytics solutions in Qlik Cloud.
This is a high-visibility, business-facing position, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders, including leadership and supervision teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end BI solutions, including:
- Data acquisition from multiple sources (on-prem and cloud)
- Data pipeline development and ETL processes
- Data modeling and transformation for analytics
- Dashboard development in Qlik Sense / Qlik Cloud
- Work directly with business stakeholders to:
- Gather and refine requirements
- Translate business needs into data solutions
- Present insights clearly to non-technical audiences
- Build and maintain scalable and flexible data models in a highly complex environment
- Integrate data from diverse sources, including:
- Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle (on-prem)
- APIs and third-party systems
- AWS (S3, Athena, Iceberg)
- Optimize performance across both data pipelines and dashboards
- Act as a bridge between business and technology, combining BI development with a light Business Analyst mindset
- Contribute to the development of supervision and compliance dashboards, supporting operational and regulatory processes
- Participate in strategic discussions and present insights to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
Core Technical Skills
Strong experience in end-to-end BI development (data- insights)
- Advanced proficiency in Qlik Sense / Qlik Cloud
- Strong SQL skills (heavily used for data extraction and transformation)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Data pipelines and ETL processes
- Data modeling in complex environments
- API integrations
- Solid understanding of:
- Data acquisition strategies
- Data quality and governance
- Performance optimization in BI tools
- Advanced English
Nice to Have
- Experience with Qlik AI capabilities (Qlik Answers, AutoML, Predict)
- Exposure to AI/ML applied to BI
- Background in financial services (highly valued)
- Experience in complex, multi-source environments
