Responsibilities
- Oversee SAP pre-sale and implementation project governance and delivery, including business requirements refinement, fit-gap analysis, process and organizational change, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Assess current customer solutions and identify opportunities for SAP solution implementation
- Develop and adjust SAP Solution-specific functional requirements and identify related IT and business enablers from initial customer initiatives through to the final blueprint for SAP implementation
- Support account planning to help shape the customer vision based on solution scope
- Guide architecture governance and methodologies to ensure consistency, communication, and collaboration across the SAP architecture domain
- Participate in the customer engagement lifecycle as an active member of the account engagement team
- Define and integrate business, data, application, and technical architecture domains
- Lead or support the development of target architecture and customer roadmaps, ensuring alignment with SAP solutions
- Introduce innovative topics to address specific customer needs
- Build strong customer relationships and assist the EPAM sales team in detailed solution discovery discussions
- Stay informed about SAP product and solution trends, as well as the current SAP portfolio, to help shape customer roadmaps
- Estimate work efforts related to process and organizational design improvements, SAP technical configuration, and development
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with SAP products
- At least 2 years in leadership, management, owner, architect, or coordinator roles
- At least 1 year of experience leading a team of five or more people
- Participation in at least 2 full-cycle projects or involvement in multiple projects covering various phases of the development lifecycle
- Proven ability to manage SAP pre-sale and implementation project governance and delivery, including requirements analysis, fit-gap analysis, process and organizational change, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Experience assessing customer solutions and identifying areas for SAP implementation
- Skilled in developing SAP Solution-specific functional requirements and identifying IT and business enablers from initial concept to final blueprint
- Ability to drive architecture governance and methodologies for consistency and collaboration across SAP architecture
- Experience defining and integrating business, data, application, and technical architecture domains
- Ability to lead or support target architecture and customer roadmap development, maintaining alignment with SAP solutions
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience supporting sales teams in solution discovery
- Ability to estimate work efforts for process improvements, organizational design, SAP configuration, and development
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
