SAP FICO Consultant

What are we looking for?

SAP FI/CO Consultant to support a strategic SAP transformation project. This professional will be responsible for planning and delivering end-user training within the SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) environment, ensuring that business users fully understand system functionalities, financial structures, and related business processes.

The role requires strong functional knowledge in Finance and Controlling, combined with the ability to translate complex SAP processes into clear, practical training sessions and documentation for end users.

End User Training

• Plan, organize, and deliver end-user training sessions within the SAP environment.
• Explain system functionalities and business processes related to Finance and Controlling.
• Deliver hands-on, scenario-based training using the SAP system to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Support business users in understanding financial structures, data flows, and operational processes within SAP.

Training Focus Areas

• Provide training on the introduction and usage of Profit Centers within: Cost Centers Internal Orders WBS Elements (Work Breakdown Structure) Production Orders (PP Orders)
• Cost Centers
• Internal Orders

• Provide training on Functional Areas, including their use in: Cost Centers G/L Accounts WBS Elements

• Deliver training on key Finance and Controlling structures, including: Setup and usage of the Intercompany (IC) Ledger Application of the Cost of Sales Method (CoS / UKV) Use of the Profit Center Ledger Requirements related to IFRS 18
• Setup and usage of the Intercompany (IC) Ledger

Training Material Development

• Create, maintain, and continuously improve training materials, process documentation, and quick reference guides.
• Document training content and evaluate participant feedback to improve future sessions.
• Support the development of best practices and user documentation for the SAP environment.

Project Support

• Work closely with Finance, Controlling, and IT teams during the project lifecycle.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training activities during system testing phases.
• Participate in go-live preparation and provide support during the hypercare phase.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience working with SAP FI/CO, preferably in implementation or transformation projects.
• Strong functional knowledge in: Profit Center Accounting Cost Center Accounting Internal Orders WBS Elements

• Basic understanding of Production Orders (PP).
• Knowledge of intercompany processes and ledger structures within SAP Finance.

• Experience creating training documentation, guides, and learning materials.
