We are seeking a dynamic SAP MDG Chief Expert to lead the architectural design, implementation, and continuous innovation of our Master Data Governance platform.
This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring top-tier data quality across key domains such as Material (MM), Business Partner (Customer/Vendor), and Finance (FI).
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of MDG solutions, encompassing data modeling, UI modeling with Floorplan Manager, and process modeling using BRF+ workflows
- Define data standards, validation rules, and enrichment processes while establishing frameworks for data ownership and KPIs for data health
- Oversee the integration of MDG with SAP S/4HANA and legacy systems using ALE/IDoc, Data Replication Framework, and OData services
- Drive full-cycle implementations, from requirement gathering and blueprinting to Go-Live and hyper-care
- Manage a team of consultants, offering code reviews and architectural guidance
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Data Management, with at least 2 full-cycle SAP MDG implementations in a lead role
- Expertise in MDG domains including MDG-M, MDG-S, MDG-C, and MDG-F
- Deep proficiency in BRF+ and Floorplan Manager frameworks
- Experience with SAP Data Services, Information Steward, and integration tools such as Mulesoft or SAP PI
- Strong understanding of ABAP Objects, BAdIs, and Web Dynpro development
- Background in migrating from ECC to S/4HANA and handling "Business Partner" synchronization (CVI)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Master Data Governance (preferred)
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
