Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud data infrastructures using GCP services such as DataFlow, BigQuery, and Dataproc
- Deploy Infrastructure as Code automation with Terraform for scalable provisioning
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to automate workflows with Python
- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Work with cross-functional teams to optimize data platform performance and reliability
- Configure cloud data processing tools including Apache Spark, Kafka, and Apache Airflow
- Diagnose and solve reliability and scalability challenges in cloud data systems
Requirements
- Minimum of three years working with GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Dataproc
- Expertise in Python and solid SQL skills for data pipeline management
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code frameworks like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Strong Linux OS and shell scripting knowledge
- Good grasp of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and NAT
- Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, or ELK Stack tools
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud offerings like ECS, S3, Data Lake, or Synapse
- Ability to use other IaC tools such as Ansible
- Experience with alternative data automation technologies
