We are hiring a Senior Java Developer to deliver high-quality backend solutions in Java with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability. You will work with the team on architecture, testing, and Dataflow/Apache Beam workloads while partnering with clients; apply today.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and design scalable backend services using Java technologies
  • Coordinate with team members to define solution architecture that meets business and technical requirements
  • Produce readable, maintainable code that follows best practices and coding standards
  • Improve system performance and scalability to protect user experience quality
  • Diagnose and fix complex defects through debugging and troubleshooting
  • Review code and provide actionable feedback to strengthen overall output
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business-aligned solutions
  • Track industry trends and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team

Requirements

  • Proven 3 years of practical work with Java (Core, Collections, StreamAPI, Concurrency) for building resilient backend systems
  • Strong command of JDK 17+ and experience running builds with Maven or Gradle
  • Hands-on background with Apache Beam and Dataflow, including DoFn, ParDo, and GroupByKey, plus deployment and monitoring of Dataflow jobs
  • Demonstrated strength in QA practices, including writing JUnit unit tests and performing detailed code reviews
  • Clear English communication skills (B2+ upper-intermediate or higher) with experience in client-facing discussions and status updates

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM roles, and security best practices
  • Experience across SQL and NoSQL stores such as BigQuery, relational databases, and NoSQL databases for querying and managing data
  • Exposure to CI/CD automation with Jenkins for build and deployment pipelines
  • Familiarity with AVRO and Parquet as data serialization and storage formats
  • Knowledge of XML and XSD for validation and data modeling
  • Experience with Equifax GBP or comparable financial or credit-related systems
