About the Position
We are looking for a Tech Lead to lead our international projects. Your challenge will be to design and evolve scalable, robust architectures, manage distributed teams, and leverage modern technologies, including cloud and AI/ML.
The Tech Lead will play a strategic role in our international expansion, understanding the technical demands of projects while maintaining clear communication with both clients and developers. You will guide the engineering team, align solutions with business needs, and ensure consistent quality and impact.
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure objectives are met within scope, time, and budget.
Work closely with technical teams and clients defining scope, managing schedules and resources leading and motivating the team, identifying and mitigating risks, and monitoring progress to make strategic decisions and secure project success.
Lead the engineering team, acting as a technical reference and mentor.
Define and evolve scalable and distributed architectures.
Make key technical decisions in back-end, cloud, and AI/ML integrations.
Ensure engineering best practices: code reviews, quality, and security.
Collaborate with PMs, designers, and stakeholders to align technology with product vision.
Investigate and resolve critical performance and scalability issues.
Support the definition of the technical roadmap and contribute to product strategy.
Requirements
Solid experience in software architecture and technical leadership.
Proven track record leading distributed teams.
Proficiency in at least one modern back-end stack (Node.js, Python, Go, etc.).
Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Knowledge of architectural design and integration of AI/ML solutions.
Strong understanding of scalability, security, and engineering best practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical challenges into business language.
Fluent in English.
Degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development or related areas
Nice to Have
Experience with international expansion.
Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and observability practices.
Previous experience in startups or scale-ups.
Relevant open-source contributions, talks, or publications.
- Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish.
