Key Responsibilities
- Understands the company's Vision & Mission
- Edit raw video footage into compelling content for YouTube, social media, websites, advertisements, or internal use.
- Cut, trim, color-correct, and enhance video/audio for clarity and style.
- Add graphics, text overlays, animations, sound effects, and music as needed.
- Collaborate with creative teams, producers, and clients to understand project goals.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ensure consistency in visual style, tone, and branding.
- Optimise video formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) for newsletters and blogs.
- Stay current with video trends, editing techniques, and platform requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a video editor with a portfolio/reel showcasing past work.
- Proficient in Portuguese is essential.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools. We use Adobe Premiere in the company.
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects or similar) are a plus.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Access to a reliable computer setup and high-speed internet.
