Join Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) as 3rd Engineer on a Cargo Transfer Vessel (CTV) operating in Brazil. You will work with an experienced engine team, keeping all machinery running safely and efficiently while supporting daily vessel operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in operation, monitoring and maintenance of main engine and auxiliary machinery
- Carry out routine checks, inspections and preventive maintenance in the engine room
- Maintain engine room logs, records and reports as required
- Support bunkering operations and fuel/lubricant handling
- Follow safety, environmental and company procedures at all times
- Assist in troubleshooting and repair work under guidance of senior engineers
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer CoC (STCW compliant) suitable for vessel type and trading area
- Previous sea service as 3rd Engineer or 4th Engineer on similar vessels preferred
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety training certificates
- Valid medical fitness certificate and seaman’s book
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work well in a small engine room team
