Join Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) as 3rd Engineer on a shuttle tanker trading in Brazil. You will work with an experienced engine team, keeping all machinery running safely and efficiently while maintaining high operational standards.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and engine room equipment
- Carry out daily engine room rounds and report any defects or abnormalities
- Perform planned maintenance and repairs as instructed by the 2/E and Chief Engineer
- Monitor fuel, lube oil, cooling water and other critical parameters
- Ensure engine room housekeeping and safety standards are always maintained
- Keep engine logs and records updated as per company procedures
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer CoC, meeting STCW requirements for tanker service
- Tanker experience, preferably on shuttle or other oil tankers
- Good knowledge of engine room systems and planned maintenance routines
- All mandatory STCW safety courses and valid medical certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with a strong safety mindset and readiness to join in Brazil
