Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) is looking for a dedicated 3rd Officer to join our offshore special purpose vessel operating out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. If you are a safety-minded officer with solid navigation skills and offshore experience, we invite you to sail with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the bridge team with navigation, watchkeeping, and voyage planning
- Monitor vessel position, route, and traffic during watch
- Support safe deck operations, including offshore and DP-related tasks as required
- Carry out safety and security rounds, inspections, and drills
- Maintain charts, publications, and bridge equipment as directed
- Follow company procedures and international regulations at all times
Requirements
- Valid STCW license as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW)
- Previous experience as 3rd Officer, preferably on offshore or special purpose vessels
- Valid offshore medical and mandatory STCW safety courses
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork attitude
- Eligibility to work and travel to/from Brazil
