The A&R (Artists & Repertoire) department is responsible for talent scouting, artist signings, and artistic development, working strategically alongside internal teams, management offices, and artists to foster career and repertoire growth. The team plays a central role in shaping the company’s portfolio by monitoring cultural trends, identifying market opportunities, and leading artistic projects from conception through release.
We are looking for an A&R Analyst to support the operational and strategic processes of the artistic department, with a focus on managing relationships with artists, management teams, and internal company departments. This is an affirmative opportunity for people with disabilities (PWD).
What you’ll do:
- Provide operational support to A&R specialists and leaders in managing the department’s daily routines and processes;
- Organize the workflow for receiving and delivering audio and video masters;
- Review lyrics, materials, and documentation related to releases;
- Work closely with Marketing, Label, and Legal teams to support release clearance processes;
- Support the organization and follow-up of schedules, materials, and deliverables for roster artists;
- Act as a liaison between management offices, artists, and internal teams to align information and operational demands;
- Assist in monitoring music trends, digital consumption, and market movements;
- Contribute to maintaining a close, organized, and productive relationship between the label and its artists.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration, Music, or related fields;
- Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and systems/tools;
- Familiarity with digital platforms and music consumption trends;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Interest in and affinity with popular Brazilian genres such as sertanejo, forró, and pagode.
Expected experience:
- Previous experience in administrative, operational, or artistic routines related to the music and entertainment industry;
- Experience working with artists, management offices, or industry partners is a plus;
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously;
- Interest in cultural trends and the recorded music market.
