In this role, you will be responsible for:
As Account Manager, you will have full responsibility for driving our business and improving and growing our revenue in Mexico by fostering relationships with existing car rental partners, prospecting new ones, and generating new product offerings.
You are passionate about the car rental market and combine your interest with the ability to extract crucial market information and insights to enhance our business. A data-driven and market-sensitive profile is essential to thrive in the competitive Mexican environment and achieve our business goals.
Key Initiatives
Revenue
- Manage the sales performance of the Mexican car rental portfolio, identifying opportunities to increase revenue in strategic destinations such as CDMX, Cancún, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Riviera Maya and others.
- Negotiate key account agreements that strengthen Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’ position in the Mexican and global market.
- Negotiate commission conditions to maximize final revenue while ensuring competitiveness.
- Negotiate specific rates tailored for domestic and international demand in Mexico, considering product competitiveness and ideal commissioning.
- Monitor market share and penetration in Mexico, identifying opportunities that best suit local and international customers’ needs.
- Monitor web service system performance and share insights with suppliers to minimize errors and reduce response time.
- Monitor search “no results” due to product unavailability and seek solutions to reduce drop-offs.
- Manage performance of optional services, negotiating better conditions that improve conversion and revenue.
- Represent Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) at industry events, trade fairs, and tourism expos in Mexico to expand our local presence.
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to implement campaigns and practices tailored to the Mexican market.
Coverage
- Outline and map new partnerships with local and regional Mexican rental companies, ensuring balanced growth with global brands.
- Ensure IT integrations with new partners are completed on time and at the required quality standards, always seeking process improvements.
- Expand Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’ footprint in Mexico, including new payment methods relevant to the region.
- Ensure continuous updates of rental locations and vehicle groups in our platforms.
- Guarantee registration of special offers from local partners in the shortest possible time.
Pricing and Competitiveness
- Monitor competitors’ pricing strategies in Mexico across different sales channels, including OTAs and local players such as Despegar, PriceTravel, Booking, and regional aggregators;
- Ensure availability parity across all Mexican channels;
- Actively participate in price/markup definition for NET rate markets, focusing on revenue growth and conversion;
- Adapt promotions and pricing strategies to key Mexican dates (Semana Santa, Día de los Muertos, summer and winter holidays, long weekends);
- Define relevant criteria to be applied in artificial intelligence algorithms for pricing and competitiveness.
Scorecard and Reports
- Track performance scorecards for the Mexican supplier portfolio, including rate parity, availability, WS performance, NPS, complaints resolution, financial status, and commission payments;
- Share performance reports with partners, supporting them in improving their positioning and strategies in collaboration with Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados);
- Highlight insights for touristic hotspots in Mexico (e.g., Cancún, Los Cabos, Riviera Maya) to optimize business strategies.

- Fluent Spanish and English;
