    The Accountant will efficiently execute accounting and administrative processes, ensuring compliance with current tax, legal, and accounting regulations, as well as with the company's internal policies.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    General Accounting

    • Support the execution of monthly accounting closings, in collaboration with the Controller.
    • Perform accounting entries and provisions, account reconciliations, and monthly variance analyses against the budget.
    • Prepare managerial accounting reports and provide support to the treasury.
    • Control and record expenses, service and material invoices.
    • Manage fixed asset accounting: acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals.
    • Import and Export - Issuance of invoices and related accounting entries.
    • Manage Cost - FIFO

    Tax Area

    • Support tax operations and the calculation of taxes and withholdings.
    • Ensure the correct recording and fulfillment of tax obligations (municipal-ISS, state ICMS, and federal Pis, Cofins, PCC, IPI).
    • Calculation of LALUR - IR / CSLL, with its respective additions and exclusions
    • Knowledge and Implementation - Tax Reform
    • Support Payroll and HR Processes
    • Support the calculation and accounting of payroll.
    • Assist in the documentation management of employee hiring and termination processes.

    Relationship and Support

    • Assist internal and external clients with company accounting and registration documents (municipal, state, and federal levels).
    • Collaborate with departments such as Engineering, Sales, and others to support financial decision-making.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Ensure the accurate recording of processes in the MS Dynamics 365 ERP system.
    • Collaborate with internal and external audits.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and KPIs in the area.
    • Comply with Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental standards.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of Bachelor's degree with 4-5 years accounting experience.
    • MS Office experience a must. Experience with ERP (MS Dynamics 365 desirable
    • Must have experience with government systems for tax reporting obligations
    • Knowledge of Brazilian and international accounting standards a must (IFRS a plus)
    • Must be bi-lingual - English
