What your new challenge will look like
- Manage day-to-day financial accounting activities, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes for a US and Brazilian entity
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct / manage accounts payable process (recording and processing of incoming invoices).
- Conduct / manage accounts receivable process (ensure timely processing and preparation of outgoing invoices including debtor management).
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Process travel and other related expenses.
- Manage banking and cash flows.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors in the preparation of tax returns.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial data and analysis.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role.
- Work experience in an international environment and for international companies; strong English abilities are a must.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Workday) and MS Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
