What You Will Do
- Build and foster partnerships across global finance, business units, and external auditors to support profitable decision-making with integrity and long-term stability.
- Perform regular General Ledger processes including variance analysis, reconciliations, and month-end close ownership.
- Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and provide insights on forecast vs. actual and month-over-month changes.
- Provide ad hoc support and analysis to other departments such as Tax, Audit, and HR.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements and innovations, challenging the status quo to create value.
- Collaborate across regions to understand and improve compliance with local regulations.
- Develop independent solutions and make high-level decisions with a principled entrepreneurial mindset.
- Communicate insights effectively through storytelling to influence stakeholders and inform decisions.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Strong experience and solid understanding of General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and related accounting processes including journal entries, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end close support.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel (including spreadsheet creation, pivot tables, data manipulation, analysis, and formula creation).
- Minimum of three years of experience in Month-end close and financial reporting.
- Proficient in English.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Experience in accounting, finance, business support and client engagement roles.
- Proven ability to evaluate large data sets from multiple sources and provide insightful analysis.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting sub-systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI.
- Proficient in Spanish.
