Purpose of the Position

Somos uma empresa de médio porte, com atuação nacional e governança corporativa internacional. Estamos buscando um Analista Contábil com forte perfil analítico, organizado e responsável, capaz de assegurar a precisão das informações contábeis e apoiar os controles financeiros da operação local, em colaboração com a gestão, equipes internas e a matriz corporativa.
Support the Chief Financial Officer in the monthly closing, ensuring solid internal controls and consolidating the company's financial/accounting routines. Over time, evolve in the position to fully assume the accounting/finance process, replacing or complementing external accounting service providers.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate the monthly financial and accounting closing: entries, reconciliations, adjustments, income statement, balance sheet and analysis of variances.
- Manage daily financial routines: accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, bank reconciliations.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to prevent errors and fraud while ensuring the integrity of financial data.
- Work with the current outsourced accounting firm (during the transition) and gradually assemble the company's internal accounting team.
- Prepare and monitor the annual budget, project financial performance on a monthly/quarterly basis, and analyze variances against forecasts.
- Analyze costs and expenses; propose efficiency improvements and maximization of margins.
- Prepare management reports and financial indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with other departments (Operations, Sales, HR, etc.) to align financial needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management, Finance or related fields
- Active registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC)
- Intermediate level English, able to understand and communicate in a basic way
- 3 to 5 years of experience in finance/accounting; Proven experience with full accounting close
- Mastery of accounting/financial ERP software; Advanced Excel; knowledge in reporting/BI tools is a plus
- Analytical, detailed, organized profile; good communication; able to meet deadlines; Integrity and ethics
Differentials
- Previous experience in a multinational or foreign company
- Experience transitioning from outsourced to in-house accounting
- Fluent English is a plus
