Summary
At Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) (www.thesignpack.com), the Architect/Engineer is part of a Design Team Unit and assists the cluster in providing technical and structural drawings, and shop drawing layouts according to job tickets and Project Manager requests. The scope includes creating new signage projects and converting existing layouts into shop drawing files, including monuments and pylons. The architect/designer communicates with supervisors constantly to ensure quality objectives are fulfilled and accepts tasks delegated by the Project Manager.
What You'll Do
- Create shop drawing layouts, developing technical and structural drawings.
- Complete design projects within assigned time limits.
- Ensure all designs and layouts produced reflect the scope of work required by the customer.
- Assist other designers by ensuring that design technical goals are achieved.
- Assist and accept delegated tasks from Project Manager and Team Leader, in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead client meetings to clarify and align technical scope and project requirements.
- Ensure all paperwork is organized and job progress is maintained to meet management and customer expectations.
- Ensure all incoming calls related to sales/design activities are responded to promptly.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent technical education.
- Strong experience in technical and structural drawing.
- Proficient in Revit (required).
- Ability to create shop drawing layouts.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage and lead client meetings to align technical scope and project requirements.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job tickets and design briefs.
- Highly efficient, organized, and detail-oriented.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Illustrator and SketchUp (big plus)
- Experience with signage designs, especially monuments and pylons.
- Experience with projects with direct contact with customers.
