Your Mission
Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) is looking for a skilled and motivated Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our fast-growing team in Latin America. In this role, you will help architect and implement end-to-end AI solutions that solve real-world challenges in identity verification and fraud prevention, with a strong focus on Computer Vision and growing opportunities to work with large language models (LLMs) and AI agents. You will be a key contributor to the entire AI development lifecycle, from research and prototyping to deployment and optimization in production environments.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI systems, with a core emphasis on computer vision tasks.
Research and apply state-of-the-art AI techniques to drive innovation and accuracy in our products.
Build scalable AI pipelines and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth integration into our systems.
Contribute across the AI solution lifecycle: design, training, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
Document technical decisions, models, and experiments to ensure maintainability and team alignment.
What You’ll Bring
Strong background in Machine/Deep Learning and Computer Vision algorithms, techniques and tasks (e.g., classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, similarity search, etc.). Experience in Large Language Models, RAG systems and Agentic AI is a plus;
Strong programming skills in Python and good experience in AI libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, transformers);
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or proven work experience with AI;
MSc or PhD with research in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, or related areas is a plus;
Experience in other programming languages, such as: JavaScript, TypeScript and C++, is a plus;
Experience in Cloud Providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) is a plus;
Experience in Databases (MySQL, PosgreSQL, MongoDB, OpenSearch, Qdrant, etc.) is a plus.
