Description and Requirements
Role Overview
This role focuses on leveraging operating system-level insights to identify root causes of IT issues and drive automation across service delivery.
You will work across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments to analyze system behavior, improve operational efficiency, and implement automated remediation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze system logs and OS-level events across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments to identify recurring issues and root causes
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement remediation workflows to improve IT operations
- Support continuous improvement through data analytics, observability, and predictive insights
- Collaborate with Service Desk, Curatorship, and Engineering teams to operationalize automated solutions
- Contribute to improving service stability, performance, and user experience
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Deep technical expertise in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), including troubleshooting and log analysis
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or low-code/no-code platforms)
- Applied knowledge across a broad range of IT processes, technologies, and interdependencies
- Ability to apply advanced technical principles to solve complex problems and deliver effective solutions
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect technical insights to business outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
Experience:
Strong technical background in operating systems, automation tools, and enterprise IT environmentsEducation:
Undergraduate degree in an IT-related discipline, supplemented by relevant IT certifications
