The Digital Product Management Team within IO Customer Experience is leading the way to provide value and remarkable service to our customers by creating seamless experiences across multiple channels and touchpoints to ensure the best business outcomes.
The Digital Product Manager is responsible for driving customer value through the establishment of a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap that aligns with customer needs, technology trends and GMF Strategy. The ideal candidate is results driven and has expertise in developing and executing strategies that support digital product development aligning to the company’s vision and strategic goals. Key responsibilities focus on customer observation and understanding, understand data and analytics, developing relationships with multiple stakeholders, capturing, and representing GMF’s business needs both internally and with third parties, leveraging insights and trends to facilitate change and define the future for GMF Products, driving adequate governance around the lifecycle of a product including change and vendor management.
As a Digital Product Manager, you’ll support teams responsible for systems used by our distributed operational teams and various customer facing experiences. Specifically, your goal will be to make sure that every customer or business that decides to work with GMF has the best possible experience regardless of their touchpoints with us, whether digital or in-person. Your product is your business, and you’ll need to think about the impact not just on customer experience, but also how they’re powered by distributed operational teams and the business efficiencies achievable to deliver value. You will interface with executives at all levels across the company to build alignment, partner on execution, and define strategy.
- Develop and evangelize your product’s mission, strategy, and objectives with both internal and external partners
- Understand and evangelize the vision, strategic priorities and goals of the organization, translating them into a roadmap of features and enhancements that provide remarkable customer experiences.
- Lead the high-level prioritization of initiatives, aligning experiences across channels and touchpoints to ensure the best business results.
- Plan, develop and implement strategy in partnership with IT & Data for strategic long-term roadmaps, through understanding the business and customer’s changing needs along with the business processes that are/will be required to deliver.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with GMF’s Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, Design/UX, Analytics, and Customer Experience Management teams.
- Use qualitative and quantitative research and analysis methods to investigate customers’ frustrations and unmet needs and creatively identify product development opportunities
- Define plans that assess internal and external resource requirements, technology needs, interdependencies, and timelines. Contribute to the best roadmap definition to accommodate operational needs from an IO perspective, focusing on target operating models and operational efficiencies.
- Support business requirement definition for all solutions within scope and interdependencies. Liaise with other functional / departmental managers to ensure there is full visibility of organizational developments, objectives, purposes, and achievements. Act as gatekeeper, support and drive accountability based on “idea-to-launch” approach for all requirements.
- Interface with business partners to create cohesive business processes and required digital solutions, designing with advanced analytics as a core competency for digitizing core operations
- Partner with business operations stakeholders, vendors, legal and compliance teams to define and deliver customer experience projects.
- Creatively explore ways to speed up time-to-value, reduce risk, and increase the pace of learning through prototyping, pilot testing, and other forms of validation
- Share the products story by interpreting analytics and analyzing application performance data to propose iterations or future strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding and experience with Design Thinking process, conducting user interviews, creating and evaluating prototypes.
- Strong understanding of Hypothesis Driven Development.
- Experience working with UX team members or be willing to take a first pass at designs.
- Drive the product roadmap and participate in end-to-end product life cycle development based on market research, analytics, and business requirements.
- Collaborate with partners to create impactful customer targeting strategies and identify optimization opportunities; size and prioritize opportunities.
- Be actively involved in interpreting analytics and customer data.
- Define the product strategy and lead the execution of a roadmap of features and experiences that exceed customer expectations and meet business objectives and key results (OKR’s)
- Collaborator who can work closely among developers, UX designers, marketers, analytics teams and operations leaders across multiple markets and geographies.
- Subject matter expert for some of Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s key digital consumer channels and you’ll be recognized as a fierce advocate for putting the customer at the center of everything we do.
- Engages with Product Managers and Product Owners for the correct execution of the Product Management routines and discipline.
- Lead planning for the future direction of Digital Products by combining customer needs and insights with quantifiable business cases to establish roadmaps and strategies that are built on consensus and buy-in from senior leadership.
- Enable innovation through test and learn culture and experimentation, applying improvement and design-thinking methodologies
- Lead and nurture a team of direct and/or indirect team members charged with implementing the product roadmap.
- Analyze market trends, customer experience and business processes to identify improvement opportunities and assist management in decision-making
- Manage product performance by defining and measuring Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), product analytics, operational processes, and systems to measure results.
- Broad knowledge and experience of vehicle retail finance business, or related finance industry.
- Understanding of GMF business operations or proven business acumen (desired).
- Proven history of managing all aspects of a successful digital product throughout its lifecycle
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Finance, Engineer, Economy, other)
- Experience in working in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding AI concepts (machine learning, NLP, predictive analytics) and their business applications.
- Ability to identify opportunities where AI can enhance customer experience, automate processes, or improve decision-making.
- 6-8 years Product Owner/Manager experience on Agile Scrum team
- 2-4 years leadership experience
- Fluent in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese (desired)
- Experience working with operational teams, preferably large and distributed teams
