Job summary
Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) is seeking a Backend Engineer to join our team in building the Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) web application from the ground up.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Golang and Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models using PostgreSQL
- Work with event-driven architectures and message queues, particularly Kafka
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development practices
- Manage and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix production issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development and deployment processes
Your skills will include
- 3-5 years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Golang and / or Python
- Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written communication skills
Nice to haves
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (ArgoCD)
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform)
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
