The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced ERP Engineer to join our IT Operations team in a fully remote capacity, playing a central role in scaling and evolving our Business Central environment as we power a growing e-commerce operation across multiple retail channels and marketplace partners. In this role, you'll own the full spectrum of BC development - from building AL extensions and custom integrations to connecting our marketplace platforms, EDI trading partners, and order fulfillment workflows - working directly with business stakeholders to turn high-volume operational needs into reliable, scalable technical solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain Business Central customizations, extensions and integrations
- Configure and extend existing BC modules (finance, inventory, sales, purchasing, warehousing) as business requirements evolve
- Build and maintain integrations between Business Central and external platforms using APIs, web services, middleware, and automation tools
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within BC
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across configuration, custom code, and integrations
- Perform testing, code reviews, deployment coordination, and technical documentation
- Support and maintain production Business Central environments, including troubleshooting operational, integration, and data synchronization issues
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of hands-on Business Central or Dynamics NAV development experience
- Strong experience developing and maintaining AL extensions in Business Central SaaS environments
- Solid understanding of Business Central architecture, object model, and extension lifecycle
- Experience building and consuming REST/OData APIs for integrations
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) in conjunction with Business Central
- Experience with Azure services used alongside Business Central (Azure Functions, Logic Apps)
- Experience in high-volume operational environments
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and work across technical and operational teams
- Proven track record supporting an e-Commerce platform
