About the Role:

The BDM will be responsible for creating and closing sales pipelines, acquiring new clients, and managing a portfolio that contributes to significant revenue generation. Success in this role is directly tied to the ability to identify opportunities, build relationships with prospects, and convert them into high-value clients.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Pipeline Creation & Management:

  • Actively prospect new clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), corporate clients, investment funds, and family offices.
  • Identify new business opportunities by understanding client needs and offering tailored financial solutions.
  • Maintain communication with prospects, following up and moving leads through the sales pipeline to closure.
  • Convert leads into active clients, with a strong focus on driving deposits, account activations, and trading volumes.

Client Acquisition & Revenue Generation:

  • Lead client acquisition efforts by closing new business deals and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Close high-value deals through persuasive presentations and negotiations, ensuring clients align with the firm's products and services.
  • Take ownership of the sales cycle from initial contact to client onboarding.
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by acquiring new accounts and driving revenue from existing clients.
  • Upsell and cross-sell financial products to increase revenue growth.

Account Management & Expansion:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and their investments are optimized.
  • Engage with clients regularly to offer insights and strategies, maintaining high satisfaction and retention.
  • Reactivate dormant accounts and foster trust to grow existing client relationships.

Market Outreach & Networking:

  • Search for new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Attend relevant seminars, workshops, and networking events to increase visibility and generate new leads.
  • Engage in targeted outreach to refine sales techniques and improve conversion rates.

Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and deal closures to ensure alignment with overall sales goals.
  • Track performance against sales KPIs and adjust strategies to stay on target.
  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, client interactions, and document sales activities.

Profile Requirements

  • At least 2-years of proven experience in a sales-driven role, particularly within the financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated success in building and closing sales pipelines, consistently achieving revenue targets.
  • A well-established network of investors, corporate clients, and financial decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to close deals.
  • Ability to thrive in a performance-driven, fast-paced environment.
