Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) is looking for an experienced Chief Officer to join a shuttle tanker trading in Brazilian waters. You will support safe and efficient cargo operations and navigation, and act as a key leader for the deck team onboard.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise cargo and shuttle operations, including loading, discharging and tandem/DP offloading
- Assist the Master with navigation, passage planning and bridge watchkeeping
- Lead and train deck crew, ensuring safe working practices at all times
- Oversee stability, draft, trim and mooring operations
- Maintain deck equipment, LSA/FFA and ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS and company procedures
- Support environmental and safety culture onboard, including drills and emergency response
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) license
- Strong tanker experience; shuttle tanker and DP experience preferred
- All STCW certificates required for rank and tanker operations
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Strong leadership skills and proven record in safe operations
- Fit for duty and able to work in Brazilian trade
