About the role

We’re looking for a capable and hands-on Site Manager to take the lead on the ground for the construction of a high-end luxury villa in Ceará, Brazil. If you're not already based there, relocation will be necessary.

In this role, you’ll be the key link between our remote design and project teams and the day-to-day progress on site. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that construction meets our high standards of quality, follows agreed plans and specifications, and stays within time and budget constraints.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in managing teams and site activity independently — someone who can take ownership and ensure the delivery reflects the level of excellence expected by our clients.

What you will do

On-site leadership and strategy:

  • Project Oversight: Oversee all on-site MEP activities, ensuring construction strictly follows approved project plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Compliance & Standards: Monitor quality standards to ensure full compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Team Representation: Act as the primary point of contact between the construction site and the wider project team, including the Head of Construction.
  • Leadership Support: Step in for the Head of Construction when necessary, attending high-level meetings and contributing to key strategic decisions

Quality and Technical oversight:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Head of Construction to execute the construction plan, manage schedules, and oversee material procurement.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to in-house teams, third-party designers, and contractors throughout the process.
  • Quality Excellence: Maintain rigorous quality control to ensure all Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing installations reflect the high level of craftsmanship defined in the luxury design.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges or safety concerns on-site, providing clear updates and proposed solutions to management.

Operations and management:

  • Budget & Schedule Tracking: Track progress against agreed schedules and budgets, flagging risks early and identifying cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate subcontractors and on-site teams to maintain a steady workflow and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Thorough Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities and progress reports, ensuring all changes and variations are tracked according to corporate routine.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the integrity of the MEP systems and the overall safety of the construction environment.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
  • Post-graduate studies in Construction Management or related fields

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years in construction site roles (e.g. Inspector, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Site Supervisor, Assistant Project Manager, Construction Manager, Superintendent).
  • Completed at least 3 full-cycle projects in Brazil, ideally in tourist regions
  • Proven track record in luxury villa or high-end residential construction
  • Ability to provide clear examples of resolving technical or logistical challenges during past construction projects
  • Proficiency in construction software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other relevant applications.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices essential to successful delivery
  • Proficiency in English is required for communication with our international-based management team and some site teams.

What we can offer you

  • Full-time, on-site role in Ceará, Brazil
  • National relocation within Brazil supported
  • Opportunity to work on a landmark luxury hospitality project from construction through delivery
  • Collaboration within a professional, international, multidisciplinary team
