As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in the further development and operation of our cloud platforms, providing internal customers with a modern and flexible foundation for their workloads.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Further develop and operate our Azure cloud platform with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and GitOps.
- Support internal DevOps teams with the architecture and implementation of their applications.
- Implement infrastructure abstractions based on the Kubernetes API, for example through Operators and tools such as Crossplane.
- Enhance our self-service infrastructure, observability capabilities, CI/CD, and GitOps tooling for internal users.
- Collaborate closely with internal customers to continuously improve and expand the platform based on their needs.
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Crossplane, as well as GitOps methodologies.
- Experience with security and compliance in cloud environments.
- Passion for modern engineering practices and agile ways of working.
- Very good English communication skills.
