Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team in Brazil. You will serve as the strategic bridge between technology and business, working side-by-side with our Account Executives to understand client challenges, design high-impact technological solutions, and demonstrate the value of Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s services and the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Main Responsibilities

  • Discovery & Business Understanding: Lead technical meetings with prospects (C-levels, IT Directors, Engineers) to map out challenges in infrastructure, software architecture, and data.
  • Solution Design: Architect customized solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s custom development services (Cloud Migration, Data Analytics, GenAI, App Modernization).
  • Value Demonstration: Prepare and conduct technical presentations, product demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that validate the proposed solution for the client.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing commercial proposals, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and providing cloud cost estimates (Cloud Pricing/TCO).
  • Delivery Alignment: Ensure a smooth transition between the pre-sales phase and the delivery/engineering team by documenting requirements and project scopes (SOW – Statement of Work).
  • Continuous Evolution: Stay up-to-date with Google Cloud updates and market trends, pursuing certifications and sharing knowledge with the team.

Requirements

Hard Skills

  • Proven Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or IT consulting, preferably in a B2B model.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud architecture. Specific knowledge of GCP is a major advantage.
  • Technical Foundation: Solid understanding of infrastructure, AI, networking, databases, application modernization (Kubernetes, microservices), and basic data engineering/AI concepts.
  • Languages:Advanced or Fluent English is mandatory (reading, writing, and speaking), as you will interact with global teams and projects.
  • Tools: Experience with cloud cost calculators.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional Communication: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical audiences (C-level).
  • Resilience and Persuasion: Skill in navigating technical and commercial objections during the sales cycle.
  • Consultative Profile: A genuine focus on understanding the client’s pain points before proposing a solution.
  • Autonomy: Ability to self-manage in a 100% remote and dynamic environment.

Nice-to-Have (Differentiators)

  • Google Cloud Certifications (e.g., Cloud Digital Leader, Associate Cloud Engineer, or Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Previous experience working within the Google, AWS, or Microsoft partner ecosystems.
