Purpose
- The Commissioning Engineer is resposible for executing efficient commissioning of oil and gas facilities, meeting project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- You support commissioning activities, providing technical expertise and ensuring alignment with project and operational requirements
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the execution, and documentation of commissioning activities as per project planning, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.
- You coordinate testing and handover processes for systems and equipment.
- You identify and resolve commissioning challenges, providing innovative solutions to maintain project schedules.
- You develop and review commissioning procedures, checklists, and schedules in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
- You conduct pre-commissioning inspections and ensure all systems are tested and certified for safe operation.
- You drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices in commissioning activities.
Education
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or equivalent) with strong knowledge of systems, construction & commissioning processes, and HSSE regulations.
Experience
- Relevant experiencein the construction industry, combined with strong understanding of construction & commissioning management processes in the relevant disciplin and practical knowledge gained managing and leading teams to ensure smooth operations on site.
