What are your main tasks?
- Analysing and evaluating procurement markets for the purchasing area concerneCarry out group-wide, international requirement analysis
- Bundling requirements and carrying out tenders
- Carrying out enquiries, quotation comparisons, evaluations and QAF analysis for series and future series material of the category, considering price, quality, delivery performance and technology
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers
- Preparation of elaborations for decision-making for the award of contracts in various internal committees (e.g.International Sourcing Table, project team)
- Coordination with all departments involved, e.g. project purchasing, category management, development, controlling, legal department, accounting, logistics
- Carry out process and value analysis with the selected suppliers
- Participation in make-or-buy decisions
- Cooperation in supplier evaluations
- Leading or participating in escalation talks
What are your qualifications?
- Completed university degree (commercial or technical) or completed vocational training with relevant further training (e.g. technician or business economist)
- Several years of professional experience in the field of purchasing and/or SCM
- Fluency in English (German are an advantage)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and pleasure in negotiating
- Strong cost awareness and an analytical approach
- Assertiveness
- Goal-oriented, experienced and independent way of working
- Readiness to travel
- Ability to work in a team with colleagues and superiors
