This role is based at our regional office in São Paulo, Brazil
This is your chance to be part of a Corporate Human Resources team at a top global hospitality company! As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will support the execution of Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)'s learning and talent development strategy across managed properties in Brazil. Working closely with hotel leaders, Shared Services teams, HR partners, and Corporate Learning teams, you will help create outstanding learning experiences that enable Team Members and leaders to grow, perform, and thrive.
Reporting to the Cluster Director, HR Brazil, you will coordinate key learning initiatives, manage training administration, support leadership development programs, monitor training compliance, and ensure the successful execution of learning priorities aligned with Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)'s business objectives and culture.
What you'll do during a typical day:
- Coordinate the execution of learning and development programs across managed properties in Brazil.
- Support the deployment of Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) learning initiatives, leadership development programs, and global learning campaigns.
- Overview the process of training calendars, registrations, communications, attendance tracking, and reporting.
- Overview the process of learning records and ensure accurate data within Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) learning management systems.
- Monitor compliance training completion and partner with hotels to address gaps and improve participation rates.
- Coordinate key virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, and learning events.
- Assist in the facilitation of selected training programs and onboarding experiences when required.
- Support the localization and translation of learning materials and communications into Portuguese.
- Respond to learning-related inquiries from hotels and provide guidance on available tools, resources, and development opportunities.
- Generate reports and dashboards to measure participation, completion rates, and learning effectiveness.
How you'll collaborate with others:
- Partner with hotel HR leaders, General Managers, and department leaders to support learning priorities and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Work closely with the Shared Services Office HR team to ensure consistent learning support and service delivery.
- Collaborate with Corporate Learning & Development teams to execute regional and global programs.
- Partner with Talent Management, HR Operations, and Recruiting teams to align learning initiatives with business needs.
- Support communication and change management efforts related to new learning programs, systems, and processes.
- Build strong relationships across managed hotels to identify development needs and best practices.
Projects you'll take ownership of:
- Coordinate the annual learning and development calendar for managed properties in Brazil.
- Support leadership development journeys, including supervisor, manager, and emerging leader programs.
- Manage learning communications campaigns designed to increase awareness and engagement.
- Track and report learning metrics, program participation, and key performance indicators.
- Assist with the implementation of new learning technologies, tools, and system enhancements.
- Coordinate large-scale learning events, workshops, conferences, and certification programs.
- Support talent development initiatives connected to succession planning and career pathways.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on increasing learning effectiveness and operational efficiency.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Two (2) or more years of experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Training, Education, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating training programs, workshops, or learning initiatives.
- Fluent Portuguese and English, both written and verbal.
- Willing to travel within Brazil as needed (up to 30%).
It would be useful if you have:
- Experience working in hospitality, service, retail, or multi-unit environments.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience with Canva, SharePoint, or other digital learning platforms.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Experience facilitating training sessions and workshops.
