A Customer Service Assistant is responsible for helping customers with questions, purchases, and problems to ensure they have a positive experience with a company. They act as the first point of contact between the business and its customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers with inquiries about products or services in person, by phone, email, or chat.
  • Resolving complaints or issues in a polite and professional manner.
  • Processing orders, returns, and exchanges for customers.
  • Providing product information and helping customers choose the right product or service.
  • Maintaining customer records and updating information in the system.
  • Handling payments and basic cashier duties in some businesses.
  • Working with other departments to solve customer problems.
