FC Europe is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cyber Specialist to join our team in Belo Horizonte. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the security, integrity, and resilience of our organization's digital assets and infrastructure. This position requires expertise in cybersecurity practices, risk management, threat detection, and incident response. The Cyber Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures, monitor systems, and respond to potential threats while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Fluency in both English and Portuguese (written and verbal) is essential for this role.
Responsabilidades e atribuições
- Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Threat Detection and Incident Response:
- Monitor systems and networks for potential security breaches or anomalies.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing detailed analysis and resolution.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess cybersecurity risks, implementing mitigation strategies to reduce exposure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and frameworks.
- Security Tools and Technologies:
- Deploy and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity technologies and trends to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with IT, development, and business teams to ensure security is integrated into all processes and systems.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of security policies, incidents, and resolutions.
- Prepare regular reports on the organization's cybersecurity status for management.
Requisitos e qualificações
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
- Language Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
- Problem-Solving and Collaboration:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security measures.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
