About the position
We're hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to lead our CVE and CWE tracking efforts, monitor emerging threats, and contribute to offensive security practices. This position partners closely with our vulnerability management and product security efforts, and leads pentesting initiatives for web applications.
Main challenges
- Monitor threat intelligence, CVEs, CWEs, and APT activity, maintaining a threat register that will feed internal and external efforts.
- Coordinate proactive risk analysis and remediation.
- Lead penetration testing efforts primarily for web applications and support pentesting for infrastructure and server environment.
- Support the vulnerability management program.
- Provide security insights and recommendations to engineering.
- Write automation scripts and integrations as needed.
Requirements:
- Deep familiarity with threat intelligence tools and sources.
- Hands-on experience with pentesting and vulnerability research.
- Knowledge of OWASP, Mitre Att&ck, and other foundational security projects.
- Familiarity with common security frameworks and CVSS/CWE standards.
- Python and shell scripting expertise.
- Strong written communication and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Security and Engineering teams.
- Linux experience.
- Know how to deploy and maintain containers.
- Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency.
Differentials:
- Hands-on experience with Burp Suite and other research tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of vulnerability and scanning tools, such as Tenable One.
- Experience working with server environments.
- Experience with software development for Linux.
- MacOS experience.
- Fluent English proficiency.
