Our Marketing Data & Insights team is looking for a Data PO to drive the Marketing department’s data strategy and deliver impactful data solutions. You will work closely with technical experts to leverage data as a strategic asset and create tangible value for analytics teams. We are looking for someone with experience in the various data management related capabilities - including data governance, data operating model, data strategy, etc. to lead and implement foundational customer data products.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Translate business vision, needs and/or issues into clear data use cases (KPIs, models, datasets, APIs)

Craft a data strategy aligned with internal stakeholders’ aspirations, and align technical feasibility with business goals;

Maximize value creation by providing optimal datasets to fuel data-science models & personalization use-cases;

Define and prioritize features, use cases and technical tasks to ensure the product backlog is focused on delivering maximum value;

Maximize velocity in product delivery by facilitating agile ceremonies with development teams and making sure that requirements are clearly communicated and met;

Ensure alignment on progress, trade-offs and timelines by holding recurrent governances with key business stakeholders;

Proactively identify opportunities for leveraging customer data to drive business value;

Improve existing data processes through automation;

Drive initiatives related to data governance, data quality, compliance and privacy to ensure that data assets are managed in a secure and compliant manner;

Investigate data anomalies and participate in the resolution of data-related incidents and metric conflicts;

Own the single source of truth for marketing KPIs and ensure consistency across dashboards, reports and teams;

Create and maintain proper documentation on new data sources, KPIs, tasks and processes as they are added to the ecosystem;

Participate in the execution of the Customer Analytics team roadmap and vision.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

5+ years of relevant experience, preferably as a PO in a data management function;

Minimum of Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant field;

Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Management concepts, ETL/ELT, Data Analytics and the data lifecycle;

Strong understanding of customer and/or marketing data;

Proven experience in manipulating data sets with SQL language;

Experience and proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiar with project management tools (e.g. Jira);

Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences;

Experience working independently, efficiently and effectively under tight timelines and delivering results by critical deadlines without alienating collaborators;

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose solutions;

Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written);

Knowledge of PowerBI, Adobe Campaign and/or Salesforce an asset.
