At Shape, an Digital Project Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of our data product to industrial clients, from project kick-off through go-live and ongoing support. This professional acts as a key point of contact throughout the implementation process, driving structured activities, tracking milestones and timelines, and supporting clients during technical onboarding and product adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client implementation projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality commitments are met throughout all project phases.
  • Support project tracking and governance through status reporting, meeting facilitation, stakeholder alignment, and risk monitoring across internal and client teams.
  • Participate in the early stages of projects, including asset and data mapping, integration assessments, and detailed implementation planning.
  • Track implementation progress, validating quality criteria and ensuring go-live requirements are met before final approval.
  • Conduct client training and onboarding sessions, supporting users in the effective adoption of the platform.
  • Support clients during the post-go-live stabilization period, helping them transition to independent use and escalating technical issues to Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams when necessary.
  • Monitor ongoing support demands, track SLAs, and support corrective actions alongside client focal points.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including implementation plans, deployment reports, lessons learned, and handover materials.
  • Proactively identify and communicate scope, schedule, and risk deviations.
  • Support the identification of expansion opportunities within active customer accounts.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or related fields), Computer Science, Information Systems, or another equivalent STEM discipline.
  • Experience working on projects, supporting timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables within structured implementation environments.
  • Familiarity with data or technology products, with sufficient knowledge to understand integrations, data flows, and communicate technical constraints to non-technical clients.
  • Availability to work from our office in São Paulo, Brazil.
  • Advanced English proficiency.

Nice-to-Have

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
  • Experience in industrial environments such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with industrial data infrastructure, including Historians and CMMS systems.
  • Working knowledge of Python or SQL.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience supporting change management initiatives in enterprise technology deployments.
