Join Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on a shuttle tanker trading in Brazil. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board, supporting safe cargo and marine operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems
- Carry out troubleshooting on automation, control and instrumentation systems
- Maintain and test alarm, monitoring, communication and navigation systems
- Ensure proper maintenance of cargo control and pump room electrical equipment
- Plan and perform preventive maintenance in line with company and class requirements
- Keep accurate records of work done, spare parts used and equipment condition
- Support safe vessel operations and follow all safety and environmental procedures
Requirements
- Valid ETO CoC meeting STCW requirements
- Recent experience as ETO on tankers, preferably shuttle tankers
- Strong hands-on knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fit for sea service
- Ability to work safely, independently and as part of an international crew
