Join Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) as Electro Technical Rating (ETR) onboard an offshore special purpose vessel operating in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. You will support safe and reliable vessel operations by maintaining and assisting with electrical and electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment.
- Support troubleshooting of alarms, faults and basic automation issues.
- Carry out routine inspections of cables, panels, lighting and power systems.
- Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems during all electrical work.
- Keep maintenance records and report defects to senior officers.
- Work closely with the ETO and engine room team during operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as ETR or similar electrical rating at sea, preferably offshore.
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fit for sea duty.
- Basic knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work safely, follow instructions and work well within a team.
