Finance Expert (m/f/d)

Our Sales Service Center is the hub for order-to-cash, customer service, and commercial finance, supporting our sales and customer service commercial operations across the region.

We are looking for a Finance Expert (m/f/d) to join our Sales Service Center in Brazil.
In this role, you will be the financial backbone of our commercial operations, ensuring that sales processes run smoothly, accurately,
and in full compliance with both Brazilian regulations and the strict governance standards of our German parent company.
You will work closely with sales, controlling, and tax teams, handling everything from order validation to month-end closing. Additionally, you will play a key role in the implementation of a new, simplified ERP system, supporting the transition and booking accounting entries directly in the new tool.

• Order-to-Cash & Revenue Review and release customer orders based on credit limits and pricing, ensure revenue recognition follows local GAAP and IFRS 15 and local accounting standards
• Credit & Collections Analyze customer credit risk using internal tools, monitor overdue accounts (DSO) and support collection activities
• Tax Compliance Validate taxes on sales transactions together with external accounting/tax service, review and support the issuance of tax declarication
• Accounting Entries Book accounting entries directly in the local ERP system, including accounts receivable, general ledger, tax postings, and reconciliations which is aligned with local GAAP and IFRS. Ensure all entries comply with local statutory requirements and internal policies
• ERP Implementation Support Act as a key user during the implementation of a new, simplified ERP system. Participate in testing, data migration, and validation activities.
• Month-End Closing & Reporting Perform account reconciliations, accruals, and bad debt provisions based on Local GAAP and IFRS. Prepare IFRS reports for local management and German headquarters.
• Process & Controls Follow internal controls (ICS) and support internal/external audits.

• Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field and 3–5 years of experience in finance, preferably in a multinational or d service center environment. Experience in implementing an ERP system is a plus
• Technical Skills Booking accounting entries in ERP systems, SAP knowledge is a plus, Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis), Knowledge of Brazilian tax systems
• Soft Skills Comfortable working with sales teams while maintaining financial discipline, Adaptable and willing to support system changes and new implementations
• Language Portuguese (Native or fluent), English Intermediate to advanced (required for communication with headquarters)
