About the Position
We are seeking a Financial Controllership Manager to oversee our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Accounting functions, with a mandate to elevate performance standards and drive process optimization and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Controllership team, ensuring the delivery of accounting, tax, and financial routines within established deadlines and quality standards.
- Coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close for the Brazilian and U.S. operations, ensuring compliance with local standards (BR GAAP / IFRS) and U.S. standards (US GAAP).
- Lead the consolidation process of financial statements across the group's entities, taking into account the specific characteristics of the operation.
- Structure, monitor, and validate intercompany transactions, including transfer pricing policies, intercompany loan agreements, expense allocations, and cash flows between the Brazilian and U.S. entities.
- Act as the focal point with the external accounting firm in Brazil and the CPA in the U.S., validating deliverables, addressing inquiries, and ensuring consistency of information across jurisdictions.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable routines, with a focus on internal controls, deadlines, bank reconciliations, and working capital management.
- Structure, monitor, and maintain the area's key performance indicators (KPIs), including Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Average Payment Term, Average Collection Period, cash conversion cycle, and aging of payables and receivables, among other indicators relevant to working capital management and the group's financial health.
- Ensure compliance with tax and ancillary obligations in both jurisdictions, as well as regulatory requirements applicable to companies with foreign capital (BACEN, Brazilian Federal Revenue Service, IRS, among others).
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in closings, audit, IFRS and USGAAP;
- Degree in Accounting;
- Knowledge of NetSuite;
- Advanced / Fluent in English;
- Previous experience in different countries consolidation.

- Advanced knowledge of process automation (n8n, SQL or similar).
